How it’s Made

HOW OUR DAMASCUS IS MADE: All our Damascus is a mixture of High Carbon steel 1095 and 15N20 nickel carbon. You heat them up together and then fold the bar “blank” over and over to get the desired layers, Then you burn the blade in acid, and it turns nickel carbon satin silver color and the high carbon turns grayish black. 

Oil Tempered vary from 48-60HRC depending on style in blade construction..

Edges are Sharpened at 20 degrees!
